How do I make an appointment?
Please call 317-573-0149 to schedule your initial
consultation.
How much time will the psychologist spend with me (or
my child) at the consultation?
Initial consultations are scheduled for 90 minutes. During
this time, we will discuss your concerns, pertinent medical
history, and treatment options. If you choose to continue
therapy, additional therapy appointments will be scheduled.
Therapy sessions are typically 45-50 minutes in length.
How much will the consultation cost?
Before an appointment is scheduled, our staff will review
fees with you. In order to set realistic treatment goals,
it is important to evaluate what resources you have
available to pay for treatment. If you have health
insurance, it will usually provide some coverage for mental
health treatment. It is important that you carefully read
the section of your insurance coverage booklet that
describes mental health services so that you fully
understand your insurance plan, including in-network and
out-of-network benefits, deductibles and pre-authorization
requirements. If you have questions about the coverage,
call your plan administrator. Payment is due at the time of
service, and we accept checks, cash, VISA and MasterCard.
In families where parents do not share the same household,
payment is the responsibility of the parent who accompanies
the child to the appointment.
Do you file claims with my insurance company?
All of our clinical psychologists are contracted
(“in-network”) with the Sagamore Health Network. If you
have a Sagamore policy, we will collect your co-payment at
the time of service and file the balance with your
insurance carrier. You will be notified of and responsible
for paying any amount not covered, including deductibles.
For all other plans, our providers are “out-of-network” and
full payment is required at the time of service. A billing
statement will be provided for you to file directly with
your insurance company for reimbursement.
What if I have to cancel my appointment?
We understand that illness and other unforeseen events are
inevitable. If you need to cancel and/or reschedule your
appointment, please call our office at least 24 hours
before your scheduled time. Cancellations received with
less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation
fee.
What if my child needs psychological or educational
testing?
After your initial consultation, your provider will review
the testing process with you. A return appointment for your
child to complete the testing, as well as a separate
appointment for you to meet with your provider to review
results, will be scheduled. click here for more

I don't want to take my child out of school for the
appointment. Do you have after-school appointments?
We do have after-school hours available yet, just as with
other professional appointments, there will be times when
appointments will need to be made during the school day. We
ask that you pre-arrange the absence with your child’s
school; an absence slip can be provided if needed.
Can you prescribe medication?
The professionals at Woodview Psychology Group cannot
prescribe medication. If medication is recommended, we will
work closely with your physician to coordinate medication
options and treatment.
