Dr. Horn is available to present to schools and community groups on a variety of topics.  She has been an active speaker both locally and nationally for two decades.  She particularly enjoys presenting on topics related to childhood disorders, family/parenting issues, and school-based educational approaches.
Specific groups are offered for distinct problems that children may have and run for a limited time.  Group therapy is offered for specific issues such as anger management difficulties associated with a mood disorder, and sibling groups for children with a sibling that has a chronic issue such as an autism spectrum disorder.
Parent education meetings are conducted throughout the year to offer a convenient way for parents to learn about specific issues that are impacting their child/teen.  Topics include ADHD/ADD, nonverbal learning disorders, mood disorders, and dyslexia and other reading disorders.
Social Groups are geared exclusively to children who are experiencing significant social difficulties, such as those with autism spectrum disorders, nonverbal learning disorders, and neurologically-based disorders.  These Social Groups meet weekly and teach specific skills in a small group setting (no more than five children) using a variety of social development and relational skills techniques and approaches.
